By Erica Johnston

A 60-year-old bicyclist suffered minor injuries Wednesday night when he was struck by a vehicle in the Dupont Circle neighborhood, authorities said.

The accident happened on 18th Street near the intersection with Florida Avenue about 8 p.m., said Officer Hugh Carew, a police spokesman.

The man was taken to a hospital for a check-up, said Pete Piringer, a fire and emergency services department spokesman.
