By Washington Post editors

Crime Scene is reporting that prosecutors have dropped a case charging Maria B. Lewis of Mount Pleasant of assaulting a police officer during a late night snowball fight on Feb. 10.

The misdemeanor case was dropped April 15 in a motion filed by the U.S. Attorney's office for the District, court records show.
