City Paper has a new chief

By Washington Post editors

The Washington City Paper has a new head honcho.

Michael Schaffer, D.C. native and author of "One Nation Under Dog," was named editor of the paper Monday.

Schaffer replaces Erik Wemple, who left the paper in March to join TBD.com.

Schaffer, 36, is a City Paper alum, having worked there from 1997 to 2000.

Welcome to City Paper. All should check out the story that the Post won't run. Fenty had the nerve to visit Dorothy Height in the hospital. She was in a comma by the time he got there. What a creep!
