Gas leak on L Street cleared
UPDATE:
The gas leak in the 1000 block of L Street. NW has been cleared, D.C. officials reports. Massachusetts Avenue has reopened between 9th and 12th streets NW.
D.C. buildings evacuated after gas leak
3 p.m.
Four to five buildings in the area of 10th Street and Massachusetts Avenue NW were evacuated Friday afternoon following a a high pressure gas leak, D.C. Fire and EMS report.
A construction crew is said to have struck a gas line. Several people are being evacuated.
Massachusetts Avenue is closed between 9th and 12th Street. NW
