D.C. Central Kitchen vans vandalized
Nine of 15 delivery trucks belonging to D.C. Central Kitchen were vandalized early Wednesday morning, NBC 4 reports.
Someone entered the organization's parking lot at Second and E streets NW and spray painted the vans. Damage to the trucks is estimated to be about $10,000.
D.C. Central Kitchen teaches disadvantaged adults, some who are homeless or ex-offenders, culinary and life skills. The food they prepare is delivered to about 4,500 people in need each day.
