D.C. Council member Cheh breaks arm

By Washington Post editors

D.C. Council member Mary Cheh (D-Ward 3) suffered a serious fall while running this weekend and sustained a severe break and dislocation of her arm and wrist, columnist Mike DeBonis reports.
She will undergo a second surgery Tuesday and will miss tomorrow's additional legislative meeting, according to a statement from her office.
