D.C. Council member Cheh breaks arm

D.C. Council member Mary Cheh (D-Ward 3) suffered a serious fall while running this weekend and sustained a severe break and dislocation of her arm and wrist, columnist Mike DeBonis reports.

She will undergo a second surgery Tuesday and will miss tomorrow's additional legislative meeting, according to a statement from her office.

Any chance that she fell on an uncleared, icy sidewalk? If so, maybe we could finally get some enforcement of DC's rules on clearing the snow.
