D.C. Dems, Reps split over ice cream
Chocolate and strawberry ice cream, three day weekends and more frequent pay raises were the winners in a mock election held in Washington.
The D.C. Board of Elections and Ethics held a mock election Monday and Tuesday to prepare for September's primary. A total of 115 people cast ballots.
Voters were asked to choose the best automobile manufacturer, best vocal artist and best ice cream flavor. In the ice cream race, 40 percent of Democrats chose chocolate and 80 percent of Republicans chose strawberry. Voters were also asked whether they were in favor of a three-day weekend, 90 percent said yes, and whether pay increases should be issued every six months rather than yearly, 82 percent said yes.
The results are unofficial Wednesday because 24 ballots remain uncounted.

I'm not surprized that republicans over whelming picked strawberry.
