D.C. man, 63, dies a week after assault
A 63-year-old man who was assaulted last week later died, and his death is being considered a homicide, D.C. police said Tuesday.
Police said Michael Washington, of the 1600 block of Morris Road SE, was found Oct. 26 in that block after an assault was reported there.They said he had a head wound.
Police said he was taken to a hospital and died of his injuries on Monday.
No information about any suspect or motive was immediately available.
