D.C. man convicted of child abuse
A Washington man has been found guilty of nearly killing a 2-year-old boy he was supposed to be caring for at Bolling Air Force Base.
Federal prosecutors said Thursday that 24-year-old Timothy Lloyd was convicted in U.S. District Court of first-degree cruelty to children.
Prosecutors say Lloyd beat and nearly killed the boy left in his care in December. They say the boy was taken to Children's National Medical Center with life-threatening injuries and that doctors described the unconscious, unresponsive boy as “one step away from death.” Part of the boy's skull was removed in surgery and he had a broken clavicle and bruising to his liver. The boy's mother said during the trial that he has recovered from many of his injuries.
Lloyd's sentencing is set for Oct. 27.

May the worst things happen to Tim Lloyd in prison.
We can only hope people like that are murdered or commit suicide behind bars.

In certain segments of the population and certain locales, a "boyfriend" and child-in-care are a frequent and often deadly combination.

May God have mercy on Mr. Lloyd's soul!!! This is the only thing that will save him in prison. I'd with something horrible on him, but it would take me out my character to say as much.
