D.C. officer injured during chase
A D.C. police officer was injured Monday evening during a foot chase in the Petworth area of Northwest Washington, police said.
The incident occurred about 6 p.m. in the 200 block of Webster Street NW, which is a couple of blocks east of Grant Circle. Initial reports indicated that the injuries were not life-threatening, police said.
