D.C. officer struck by vehicle

D.C. Fire and EMS report that a police officer has been struck by a vehicle at the scene of a trash truck fire on I-395 near South Capitol Street.
The officer's injuries are said to be non-life threatening, and the fire is under control, authorities said.
Get There reports that there are traffic delays in the area.
