D.C. woman injured in house fire

A District woman was taken to the hospital with critical burn injuries Friday after a fire broke out in a Northwest home, WUSA 9 reports.

Firefighters responded to a house fire in the 400 block of Luray Place about 8:50 a.m. There they found a woman trapped by flames. Firefighters pulled the woman from the home and she was taken to Medstar where she is said to be in critical condition.
