Roads reopen around Thomas Circle
The District Department of Transportation is reporting that all roads around Thomas Circle have been reopened following an investigation of a suspicious package.
D.C. police have given the all clear for the area.
Delays near Thomas Circle
11:37 a.m.
The area around Thomas Circle and 14th Street NW D.C. has been shut down to traffic while police investigate a suspicious package.
Expect delays in the area.

My sister reported the suspicious package. She sits next to a ground-floor window, and saw a homeless person set some bags next to a rolling trash can right next to the building and then walk away. She thought this was strange, so she reported it to building security, who called the police. Most likely nothing, but given the attempted bombing in NY, they're not taking any chances.
