See current totals at Pepco, Dominion and BG&E.

sedelmann, I'm sure Pepco has paid their phone bill. Thousands of people are calling them at the same time as you-- their system is no doubt overloaded. Should they improve their system to handle more calls? Yes.

While I am always sypathetic when PEPCO must clean up after a big storm, I am unsypathetic about their foibles.
Since yesterday, I have tried to call the emergency number that PEPCO lists on its Web site to report downed wires and life-threatening emergencies: 202-872-3432. The number is constantly busy. How hard is it to pay your phone bill or to update your Web site to be current on such critical information?
