Former D.C. cadet sentenced in shooting
A former D.C. firefighter cadet and her boyfriend have been sentenced for shooting the woman's former boyfriend in 2007, ABC 7 reports.
Judge Robert Richter sentenced Dominique Taylor, a former cadet at the D.C. fire academy, to four months in prison for perjury and obstruction of justice. Taylor, 23, was convicted of helping to cover up the shooting of her former boyfriend and father of her 10-month-old child.
Prosecutors say Frank Johnson, 28, shot the man in the back.
