Free wi-fi coming to 2 D.C. area airports

By Washington Post editors

Free wireless will be coming to two local airports in the spring, according to airports officials. Both Reagan National and Washington Dulles International airports currently provide wireless access, but users currently need to pay for it by the day if they don't have a subscription with one of the carriers, the Washington Examiner reports.

However, the Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority, which manages the airports, is working to make the service free by spring, officials said Wednesday. Baltimore-Washington International Marshall Airport offers wireless but it is currently a pay service.

yes about time!!!! ALL airports should have FREE WiFi considering that now you have to get there so freak'in early to get through the xray stripper line or submit to your enhanced TSA groping only to then sit in a boring airport for 2hrs before you get on your cramped 1-free 0.8oz bag-o-peanuts flight! WiFi ought to be FREE on the plane too!
