By Washington Post editors

Washington Gas crews are working to repair a gas leak in Northeast D.C. Friday morning, ABC 7 reports.

Residents in the 5000 and 5100 blocks of North Capitol Street and blocks of Crittenden, Farragut, and Gallatin Streets are said to be affected.

Crews are shutting off gas to houses in the area until the problem can be corrected.
