D.C. mayoral candidate Vincent C. Gray out raised Mayor Adrian M. Fenty during the past three months, but Fenty mayor begins the summer campaign season with nearly ten times as much cash in the bank as the council chairman, according to campaign finance reports released Friday.
Since entering the race last March, Gray took in $561,000, including a $25,000 personal loan to his campaign, reporter Tim Craig tells us. Fenty, who has been raising money for his reelection campaign for more than a year, raised $475,000 during the same time, the reports show.
