Dryer sheets and mosquitos? D.C.'s blogs

By Lori Aratani

Good afternoon. It's Monday -- but it's also the Monday before Christmas. Depending on where you are on your holiday to-do list, you either can't wait for Christmas to come or you've shifted into panic mode. He claims it's true, and because it's Macheesmo, we're willing to listen. Nick says meatballs are better without the meat and offers this recipe to prove it.

That's it for now. Thanks for reading and thanks for the great suggestions for new blogs I should check out. Karen Mardelli was good enough to e-mail me her blog -- Living Like A Tourist. I plan on checking it out and maybe you'll want to give it a spin.
