Student falls from five-story building

D.C. Police are investigating an incident at Georgetown University in which an 18-year-old student apparently fell from a tall building, WUSA reports.

Officials say police were alerted to the incident around 1:43 Tuesday morning. Officers arrived at at 37th and O Streets, where they found student had fallen from a 5th floor window. Officials say the incident appears to be accidental, and alcohol may have been involved. The student survived.

Unless he was pushed (which is not accidental) I think that "alcohol may have been involved" is a pretty fair assumption.

He's a tough kid to survive a 5 story fall. The kid's pretty lucky. I hope he does something special with his second chance at life. Good luck kid!

Yeah, he'll celebrate his second chance by partying longer with his friends. On ground level, perhaps...

Falling out of a window at 1:43am with temps around 30 degrees or lower...why is a window open in the first place????

Some things never end...everyone wants to say alcohol but what about DRUGS???? Oh I forgot, Georgetowners don't do that, just alcohol since that's more acceptable....
