Helicopter makes emergency landing at school

By Erica Johnston

A Prince George's County police helicopter made an emergency landing Thursday at a Southeast Washington elementary school due to a mechanical failure, officials said.

No one was injured when Air 1 landed at Davis Elementary School in the 4400 block of G Street about 5:30, said Cpl. Larry Johnson, a county police spokesman. The helicopter was on a routine assignment taking photos, Johnson said.

The crew notified D.C. police to say they were having a systems problem, and city police responded to keep the area clear, D.C. police said.

A mechanic was en route to check the helicopter about 6 p.m., Johnson said.

The PG Cops should be,hoepfully photographing the crooked, foul and corrupt elected politicians from County Executive,County Council District 9 lady M Bland, State Delegate Melanie Griffith, her co-host in Annapolis Senators Exumand Curry and their money trails. If not the boys are faking in the helicopter photo-wise.
