Sargent Shriver has died

Former Peace Corps director and vice-presidential nominee R. Sargent Shriver, whose work as head of the 1960s War on Poverty resulted in the creation of Head Start, VISTA, Job Corps and Legal Services for the Poor, has died, according to a family spokesman. He had Alzheimer's disease.
