Howard U alert after armed robberies

By Washington Post editors

Howard University is alerting students and increasing security after masked men with guns robbed students on campus, Fox 5 reports.

Police say the same group likely committed several other robberies nearby on Wednesday night.

University police say four masked men confronted students at about 3:30 a.m. inside the engineering building and demanded their personal belongings. D.C. police say nine more robberies occurred nearby between then and 6:30 a.m. The assailants seemed to target men and took cell phones and other personal items.

The university has issued a campus security alert. Officials are asking students to make sure building doors are secured and to report anything suspicious.

This is good training for the black bourgeoisie, since so many Howard alumni move to Prince George's County after graduating, where they will spend many years at elevated risk of robbery and other violent crime.

Might as well learn how to deal with a gun stuck in your face now, since PG promises that prospect for years to come.
