Jon Stewart: Restore the Mall
Jon Stewart and Stephen Colbert are taking on causes beyond “restoring sanity” when they lead dueling political rallies on the National Mall later this month.
“The Daily Show” host announced Monday on NPR that he will ask attendees at the Oct. 30 rally to donate to help restore the National Mall. The park has a $400 million backlog of deferred maintenance.

On his rally website, Stewart says “we’re a little afraid that you might make a mess.”
Stewart selected the Trust for the National Mall as his charity of choice. The group’s president, Caroline Cunningham, says they’re grateful for the exposure.
Colbert, host of “The Colbert Report,” is asking attendees at his “Keep Fear Alive” march to donate to Donors Choose, which raises money for school supplies.

The OneNation Rally sure left a mess of the Mall. Ironic is it not? Those on the Left are always lecturing us about the environment while ignoring their own message.

Ah yes, anything to be in the limelight. Has either of these two ever done something legitimately not self satisfying?

Go for it comedy dudes! Have some fun and do some good at the same time. What's to hate? The National Mall is just that and sprucing it up and having a few laughs at the same time is a win-win situation. Get positive and stay positive.
