Man barricades himself in NE
A man barricaded himself inside a Northeast Washington apartment Tuesday night in a building that is also on fire, D.C. police said.
It was not immediately clear if the fire and the barricade situation were related. Police were called to the 300 block of 56th Street NE just after 9 p.m., said Officer Paul Metcalf, a spokesman.
No injuries were reported and a police SWAT team was called to the scene.
