A Metro bus struck a pedestrian Tuesday night in Southeast Washington, a Metro spokeswoman said.
A bus headed on the W-2 route “made contact” with a male pedestrian at Alabama Avenue and Irving Street about 8:45 p.m, said spokeswoman Lisa Farbstein.
The extent of the pedestrian's injuries was not immediately clear. Farbstein said the injuries were not believed to be life-threatening.
