Metro nighttime commuting could get longer

By Washington Post editors

Prepare for a different kind of March Madness on the Metro this month.

Metro says it will conduct weeknight track maintenance through much of the month of March -- which means many commuters traveling after about 8 p.m., Monday through Thursday, on the Red, Orange and Blue lines should add 20-30 minutes to their commute.

Just worry about the morning & evening rush hour. I don't care what happens after 8pm. Just give me and all the other rush hour riders a smooth, troublefree commute. I don't care what you do on the weekend or late at night.
