Multiple vehicle accident on the SE Freeway

D.C. Fire and EMS are at the scene of an accident on the Southeast Freeway involving multiple vehicles.
The accident occurred after 4 p.m. on the eastbound side of the freeway at the 3rd Street Tunnel exit. At least seven vehicles were believed to have been involved in the incident.
Officials said two people were taken to hospitals while others refused treatment.
Two lanes are currently blocked.
