Woman stabs another in Chinatown
UPDATED:
D.C. police have a woman in custody who they believe stabbed another woman after a dispute outside a bank in the Chinatown area, authorities said.
The incident occurred about 9:30 a.m. near a TD Bank at 7th and I Streets NW, police said. The two women got into some type of dispute, and then one of them produced a knife and stabbed the other, said police spokesman Lt. Nicholas Breul.
“Our initial belief is that this was not a random crime, this was some dispute between people,” Breul said.
