Seven passengers were removed Monday night from a sightseeing boat in the Potomac River after the boat became disabled, a D.C. fire department spokesman said.
Pete Piringerr said the incident occurred about 9:30 p.m. near the 14th Street Bridge. He said a D.C. fire department boat towed the disabled craft to safety.
