Pedestrian hit after cars crash in NW

D.C. Fire and EMS say four adults have been taken to area hospitals following a Thursday afternoon two car accident in Northwest.

Officials say two cars crashed at 17th Street and Rhode Island Avenue NW, and one of the vehicles hit a pedestrian on the sidewalk.

Two people are said to be in serious condition.
