Pedestrian struck by car in NE D.C.

A 14-year-old pedestrian was struck by a car and injured Tuesday night on Kenilworth Avenue NE, D.C. police said.
The incident occurred about 8 p.m., near Nash Street in the Deanwood area, police said.
Police say the vehicle that struck him was an SUV and its windshield may have been cracked. Details of the teenager's condition were not known immediately.
