Pepco to meet with NE residents

By Washington Post editors

Pepco officials will meet with residents of Northeast Washington on Wednesday night to discuss outages last week that left some residents in the neighborhood in the dark for several days, The Hill is Home blog reports.

The forum is organized by D.C. Council member Tommy Wells (D-Ward 6) and will be from 6 to 7:30 p.m. at the Atlas Performing Arts Center, 1333 H St. NE. Wells has a bit more information about the forum on his blog.

Pepco officials are expected to explain what happened and why it took several days to restore power to some households.
