Person dead in New York Ave. crash

A person died in a crash on New York Avenue at North Capitol Street early Monday, authorities said.
D.C. paramedics responded to the crash sometime before 5 a.m. and found the individual suffering from fatal injuries, authorities said.
New York Avenue was closed for several hours during the morning rush as police investigated the scene.
