President to throw first pitch for Nationals

By Washington Post editors

Washington and beyond will get to see what kind of arm President Obama has when he throws out the first pitch on opening day at Nationals Park.

The president will continue a tradition that began 100 years ago, Nationals Journal reports. And he will become the second sitting president to throw out the pitch since baseball returned to Washington in 2005.

Now the Nationals will have to see if they can covert the president, a Chicago White Sox fan.
