Reflecting pool to close for improvements

By Washington Post editors

The Reflecting Pool on the Mall could be closed up to two years as work to improve the landmark begins later this month, WTOP reports.

A new recirculating system to improve the quality of the water will be installed in the 2,000-foot -long pool.
