Report: ESPN Zone eateries closing

Walt Disney Co. is closing most of its ESPN Zone restaurants, a source tells the Los Angeles Times.
The sports-themed restaurants operate it seven U.S. cities. It was unclear whether the Washington D.C. restaurant would remain open.
The D.C. ESPN Zone opened in the heart of downtown in 2000. Before its opening, a Washington Post article noted that the venture faced tough odds in a market saturated with dozens of competitors.

It's not unclear whether it will remain open. ESPN Zone DC definitely closes the doors on Wednesday.

ESPN Zone is like the Hard Rock Cafe of sports bars... thats not a complement.
