Shooting victim was Catholic U student
A 31-year-old man who was shot and killed in D.C.'s Petworth neighborhood early Sunday was a student at Catholic University, Fox 5 reports.
Police said at about 12:30 a.m. Sunday, they responded to a call about gunshorts in Sherman Circle and found Neil Godleski. They believe he may have been killed during an attempted robbery. Friends say Godleski had recently returned to the university to finish a biology degree.
