15th St NW reopens

UPDATE:
Authorities have reopened 15th Street NW between L and M to cars and pedestrians.

2:35 p.m.
Authorities are asking people to stay inside buildings on 15th Street NW after a suspicious package was found in a garage underneath a building that houses federal workers. Workers in the building where the package was discovered have been evacuated.

Authorities have cordoned off 15th Street between L and M streets after a suspicious package was found in a car in a parking garage underneath a building that houses federal workers. The workers have been evacuated.
