Discounts for interns who rock
The Washington Center, a nonprofit academic internship program that brings hundreds of college students to D.C. each year, wants to show interns just how much they rock. The organization is offering the city's interns an opportunity to get discounts at some area restaurants, museums and stores.
Interns can pick up an InternsROCK! wristband free of charge at The Washington Center, 1333 16th St., NW, from June 1-11. Interns must show proof of internship to receive a wristband. Then during the week of June 11-18, interns will be able to show off their wristband at selected participating venues to get a discount.
