Two kids hit by car, seriously hurt in NE
An 8-year-old and a 16-year-old were seriously injured after being hit by a car in Northeast Washington Wednesday night, authorities said.
D.C. emergency personnel were dispatched about 9 p.m. to the intersection of Rhode Island and Montana avenues. Fox 5 reported that the driver stayed on the scene.
Both of the children were transported to local hospitals. Their injuries were not considered life threatening.
