Two workers injured at Wilson High
D.C. Fire and EMS report that two construction workers were injured Wednesday while working on renovations at Wilson High School in Northwest.
Officials were called to the construction site at the school shortly before noon, said fire department spokesman Pete Piringer. There they found two workers with relatively serious injuries, Piringer said. Both were taken to area hospitals.
It is unclear what led to the injuries the workers sustained. Piringer said they might have fallen or there may have been some problem with the scaffolding.
No students were around the construction site.
