Unscheduled leave for fed workers Wed.
Federal employees in the Washington area will once again be able to take unscheduled leave or work from home Wednesday. Ed O'Keefe tells us over at Federal Eye.
Office of Personnel Management Director John Berry said he would permit federal workers in the region to take the unscheduled leave or to telework if necessary.
No decision has been made on whether to delay the opening of federal offices or to close. A final decision will be made either later tonight or early Wednesday.
The Capital Weather Gang says the area around the District should see precipitation that could begin as freezing rain from 10 p.m. to 2 a.m. But warm air should turn that to just rain by the morning. Areas to the north and northwest may see more icing.

Most of the mature adults in the DC area aren't really concerned with the misperceptions of others -- they got through the 3 to 13 hours it took to get home in the last snow storm and then got up the next day and went back in to work.
