Wale to appear at DC Black Pride
D.C.-based rapper Wale, who was criticized for canceling an upcoming performance at Sunday's DC Black Pride celebration, is again set to make an appearance, Metro Weekly reports.
Earl Fowlkes, a spokesman for DC Black Pride, tells Metro Weekly that Wale's people reached out to the organization and requested that their client be given time on Black Pride's stage.
''He wants to show that he's not [homophobic], and we don't see any reason, within parameters, why that can't happen,'' Fowlkes said.

I remember the day when Black Pride meant Afro-American pride.

Wale is so stupid. Of course, he is homophobic. He just wants the $18,000 paycheck that this group is paying for his performance. In these challenging economic times, I'm sure that he could use the money. It's an insult to the group to have him perform now because Wale has already shown his true feelings. Their money would be better spent on another performer. Wale is a very wack, very un-hot rapper anyway. NEXT!
