By Erica Johnston

D.C. police are investigating the report of a woman who suffered a graze wound to the leg in Northeast Washington Thursday night, officials said.

Police responded to the parking lot of a convenience store in the 700 block of Kenilworth Avenue about 8:15, said Lt. Nicholas Breul, a police spokesman. The woman sustained what appeared to be non-life threatening injuries.

Investigators released no details about the circumstances of the shooting.
