Woman struck by car in Dupont Circle area

By Erica Johnston

A woman in her 20s was hospitalized Wednesday night after apparently being struck by a car in the Dupont Circle area of Northwest D.C., authorities said.

The woman sustained injuries believed to be non-life threatening in the incident at Connecticut Avenue and Q Street NW about 10 p.m., said Pete Piringer a D.C. Fire and EMS spokesman.

Police had an initial report that she may have been struck by a white Mercedes, a police spokesman said. No further details could be learned.
