Woman struck by car in NE D.C.

A woman was struck by a car Thursday night in Northeast Washington, D.C. police said.
Police had few details about the incident but said the woman was conscious and breathing after they were called 19th Street and Maryland Avenue just after 8 p.m., said Officer Paul Metcalf, a spokesman. The woman was taken to a hospital with injuries believed to be non-life threatening.
