Woman struck by dump truck in SE

A woman has been critically injured after being struck by a dump truck in Southeast, police and fire officials said.
The incident occurred just after 1 p.m. at 1st and M Streets SE. The woman was being flown to a nearby hospital with "very extensive" injuries, a police spokesman said. She was unconscious when emergency responders arrived on scene.
The circumstances of the crash were not immediately clear.
