For those seeking a few snow factoids to drop into conversation , the folks at WUSA are more than happy to oblige.
We received 46 inches of snow in the 1995/96 season. Strosnider's Hardware, which usually sells about 150 bags of ice melt during an average winter, sold 880 bags as of Tuesday morning.
