Amtrak says it is experiencing delays along the Northeast Corridor after a train struck and killed a 14-year-old girl in Baltimore County Tuesday morning, according to Channel 7.
The girl was hit about 9 a.m. in Middle River while she was crossing the tracks on her way to school.
Amtrak briefly held all northbound trains at Union Station because of the police activity. Delays were expected into the afternoon.
